Cool Phone, not mind bending or amazing, but very well thought out, Except, MEMORY! who had the idea of giving you only about 70MB and then opening a huge store of apps on top of that, Shame on you! If I could ask one thing, please Android/Google developers, please! allow me to store and run applications off the SD card, I don’t care if you force me to lock down that section of memory in the card I just want the space! That being said here are a few of my favorite applications that get to take up that valuable memory.

FREE APPS:

1) Twidroid – Twitter Client – buttons could use some polish, but great app for the price

2) MySpace – MySpace App, adds ability to send picture to MySpace from within the phone’s share menu, the fbook app needs this badly

3)  Craigslist – Obviously craigslist app, great because of it’s ability to save searches

4) Countdown alarm – I use it for cooking in the kitchen when the microwave is in use

5) Metal Detector -  Very fun! just what it says no real value except to play

6) Ringdroid – A MUST HAVE, allows you to cut MP3’s to use a phone sound files, excellent interface

7) Steel – Alternative Web browser, I think this is what the built in web should have been, give it a spin I think you’ll like it

8) T-Mobile My Account – Should be a default program, excellent!! show you account info and remaining memory on the pitiful internal memory

9) Phoneflix – Netflix front end, Ahhh a wonderful app, I was walking in the store saw a movie I wanted to see and in less then a minute it was in my Netflix que

10) Note Pad – Great little notepad because you don’t need a bloated notepad just for a few notes

11) PicSay – Photo Editor – Awesome, I will buy the pro version  as soon as it’s avalible, great way to play with photos

12) Hungry! Shoplist – Shoping list, small light weight app that will SMS and e-mail your shopping list out, I keep this and Notepad on my home screen at all times

13) Here I Am – Using GPS quickly show someone your location through e-mail or SMS

14) Movie Finder – great app for findind movie times and reviews

15) Backgrounds – for adding background images – Not a MUST HAVE but great if you like to change backgrounds alot the selection is growing quickly

16) Bubble – just a little bubbl level to show off the power of you G1, I use mine just for fun but it seems to work great

17) Quick Calendar – Shows your calendar in the notification bar very handy if you use the calendar a lot

18) GV – google voice app, if you have a google voice account you cannot go without this app!

19) SaveMMS – Allows you to save pics from MMS messages, I saw that the new firmware was suppose to let you do this but I haven’t gotten a pic to try it yet

20) Shazam – Find out the music artist that’s playing, simalar to TrackID on other phones, TRY IT, amazing should be a default install if you enjoy music

21) Gmote 2.0 – PC Remote – Very fun and useful, you just have to try it out to see what I mean.

PAY APPS:

I only run 2 paid apps and they are both excellent apps in my opinion:

1) Power Manager Full – all the power management you should have had anyways!

2) Snap Photo Pro  – makes a crappy camera actually semi-useful, I make it my default camera app

My favorite time killers, but will go when I am low on space:

Sketch-A-Etch and  Pacman

OK But needs work still, my opinion

1) FBook – Facebook app, slowly getting better but sluggish and not as intuitive as MySpace’s app

2) BistroMath -light weight tip calculator, love it but could use a small UI tweak
